Parmarth is looking for qualified and competent persons for Project coordinator position, who have natural flair to integrate with our core values and collaborate / customize with the community needs. Project coordinator will be over all responsible/in-charge to manage, coordinate, implement the project components and supervise their field team in the execution of SSI project in Chhatarpur district of Madhya Pradesh and have ultimate accountability for the program success.

Position Title: Project Coordinator

Location: Chhatarpur, Madhya Pradesh

Education & experience :

 Professional/Master’s degree in Social Work, Rural Management / Development with a minimum experience of 7 years in social sector.
Your responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership for successful project implementation.
  • Train and motivate team members on project-based capacity building, reporting, and documentation.
  • Coordinate multiple developmental components, including Monitoring, Planning, Training, and Strategic Implementation of activities within project timelines.
  • Collaborate closely with local government departments and establish networking.
  • Plan and implement project activities in the field.
  • Meet deadlines and furnish project-related reports, action plans, and other required information.
  • Coordinate with Accounts & Admin Team, MIS Officer, and Funding partners.
  • Organize training programs, workshops, and logistics.
  • Guide subject matter and Cluster Coordinators on their roles on an ongoing basis.
  • Oversee progress at the GP level and monitor project objectives and deliverables.
  • Maintain records and documentation related to project implementation from beneficiary to community level.
  • Provide timely recommendations for new processes and improvements.
  • Undertake regular field visits to monitor project implementation and processes.
  • Ensure quality documentation of field-level processes and prepare high-quality project reports.
  • Support Water Governance advocacy and inclusive, gender-specific campaign approaches.
  • Support Cluster Coordinators and Village Volunteers as needed.
  • Contribute to project issue/risk management, reporting relevant issues to governance groups.
  • Languages & skills:
    • Excellent command of written and spoken English, Hindi.
    • In-depth knowledge in social development, Water, and Sanitation, specifically in program management.
    • Excellent communication and networking skills.
    • Experience in planning and implementing large cultural/sporting events.
    • Knowledge of social accountability methods.
    • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
    • Proficiency in MS Office and digital data gathering/analysis tools.
    • Report writing skills and familiarity with social media platforms.
    • Ability to develop an MIS for each intervention and present in high-level forums.
