Parmarth Samaj Sevi Sansthan is a grass root organization dedicated to water crisis mitigation in water stressed Bundelkhand region of UP & MP since 1996 with an aim to bring qualitative improvement and changes in lives of the vulnerable people. Parmarth’s strength is its strong community connect and its commitment for the betterment of downtrodden society. Parmarth works with various stakeholders; institutions, corporate entities, the government, local communities, and individuals to provide timely interventions in water conservation, environment protection, village development, sustainable agriculture, river rejuvenation, sanitation & waste management, women empowerment, education, and skill development.

What We’re Doing
Parmarth has been working with rural communities in India for 2.5 decades. It has touched the lives of over 1 million people across 724 villages in Bundelkhand. Water influences environmental, economic, and social impact indicators. Parmarth is making a measurable impact on India.
- Rejuvenation of more than 112 Chandela tanks and construction of more than 2000 other water structures
- Rejuvenation of four Rivers
- Developed a cadre of 1086 Jal Saheli and formation of 600 Pani Panchayat committees.
- More than 17 billion litre water is being saved per year
- Established 2 thousand Kitchen Garden and 100 Plus Community Nutrition Gardens
- Over 20 thousand Farmer Mobilised for Adoption Best Farming Practices
